Create Account does not have access to any of the addresses pairs generated. All key pairs and keystore files are generated and encrypted locally on your machine. Click Create Account button above. This will display the four tabs below.

1 Password
Choose a password for your keystore file. We do not store any passwords, if you forget your password you will not be able to send messages or spend your bricks. Your account will remain frozen forever!

2 Print
Scroll to the bottom and click Print Address. Be sure to print the page on high quality setting. Never save the page as a PDF file to print it later since a file is more likely to be hacked than a piece of paper. Do NOT save your unencrypted private key on any device.

3 Download
Save your encrypted KeyStore file in a safe place. We recommend a USB that is dedicated only for high security applications. You will use this file each time you want to access your SlapStick account. The KeyStore will allow you to view your bricks and send messages.

4 Verify
For purposes of controlling spam. You must prove you are human before you can use your account.

Can I use a mobile device? Absolutely! Save your KeyStore file on a Ultra Dual USB drive 3.0 by SanDisk. Plug this device into your mobile phone and access your SlapStick account just like you would from a laptop.

Share your public address
Use your public address to receive bricks from other SlapStick users. You can share your public address as much as you want.

Wait for your new account address to be approved
Be sure to verify you are human. New accounts are not active until you can prove you are not a BOT. We are trying to keep spam to a minimum.

Security Checklist:

  • Be sure your broswer is up to date and free from viruses. Always check the domain name an SSL cerificate. Phishing is when the domain name is similiar but is not owned by

  • Be sure no-one is looking at your screen when you generate your keystore file. This includes remote viewers and someone standing behind you.

  • When creating your new addresses be sure your are using an operating system guaranteed to be free of spyware and viruses.

  • Do not plug your Keystore USB into PCs or mobile devices that may have viruses. This Keystore file is encrypted but if it does get stolen a hacker can try to brute force password hack your Keystore allowing them to take your bricks.

  • Close your browser after you create and save your key information. It is recommended you also clear the history and cache.

  • Keep your private key paper copy secret! The private key is literally the keys to your bricks, if someone was to obtain it, they could send your bricks and post malicious messages. For people who decide to reveal thier address identity others could post messages that are not from the original account owner.

  • SlapStick recommends buying a USB and dedicating it only for the KeyStore file. The "Ultra Dual USB drive 3.0 by SanDisk" is a very good option because this will allow you to use the KeyStore file on multiple devices including your mobile phone or tablet. You will need the KeyStore file in order to send messages. It is not recommended to store your KeyStore file on a physical device such as a PC or mobile device. You can store your file on these devices but if the device is hacked the KeyStore file will be out in the open for someone to steal.
